Fall Session is HERE!

After an unexpected break due to COVID-19, we are excited to announce that in-person classes will finally resume! They will be slightly different than before since everyone's health and safety is priority. I've put together an FAQ below, but if I missed anything feel free to email directly at balletfolkloricotierradelnorte@gmail.com

Where will classes be held?
Classes will now be held OUTDOORS at the amphitheater located at the Capp Smith Park (5800 Robin Dr, Watauga, TX 76148). If public health improves, we will be able to move indoors back to the Rec Center but for now all classes will be held outdoors.

What will the class size be?
Class size will be capped to 5 students per class. The amphitheater will easily accommodate 10 students with plenty of space to properly social distance. We have chosen to cap the class to 5 students so that in the event we move indoors we can still meet social distancing guidelines.

Is there an online class?
All in-person classes will be streamed online. If you prefer for you participate online, this is still an option for you!

Are masks required?
While students are dancing, No. We have ensured that there is plenty of space beyond 6ft between each student. HOWEVER, each student is required to take a mask to class. In the event that students need to move from their designated area, they will be required to wear their mask.

Can I still observe the class?
One parent or family member per student will be allowed to sit in the amphitheater during the class. All those observing WILL be required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Socializing during class time will not be allowed.

Who can participate?
As before, classes are available for students ages 3+. A NEW youth and adult class will be opened for the fall.

What happens if we need to shutdown again?
In the event that in-person classes must be cancelled, the session will be completed via Zoom.

When do classes start?
Fall Session will be held Sept 12th- Oct 31st

Will there be a recital?
A virtual recital will be streamed LIVE on Facebook on the last day of class

How much will the session cost?
Classes for children and youth will be $80 a session. Adult classes will be $40 a session. A $10 discount for children & youth and a $5 discount for adults will be given to those who register early (BY AUGUST 31ST)

Where can I register?
